Best Places to Work in Canggu
Canggu is a digital nomad’s heaven, with an infinite number of coffee shops and some of the world’s best coworking spaces. It might be difficult choosing where to work in Canggu because there are so many options to choose from.
That’s why I’ve broken down the top 10 coffee shops and coworking spaces in Canggu.
The selections were made based on wifi speed, food and drink options, charging availability and overall ambiance.
DOJO BALI – Coworking Space
Dojo Bali is one of the most popular coworking spaces on the island. With Echo Beach just a few steps away, Dojo is the perfect place to get work done while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The coworking space is complete with reliable, fast wifi, with the added bonus of an amazing pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. There are also plenty of food and coffee options to choose from in the café.
DOJO also taps into the community side of things, offering workshops, BBQs, networking sessions, inspirational events and weekly meetups.
Tropical Nomad – Coworking Space
Tropical Nomad is without a doubt my favorite coworking space in Canggu. It’s one of the newer Canggu coworking spots, so it isn’t as crowded as some of the other options.
The building and grounds are stunning, with plenty of palms trees, an open yard, and cabanas. The indoor area is also fantastic, and they have a ton of different seating areas and working spaces to choose from.
They offer great amenities like fast wifi, coffee, tea and water all day long.
Zin Cafe – Coffee Shop
ZIN Cafe is a popular coffee shop that doubles as a co-working space! You can do either – come here for a coffee or food and work without subscription, or they also have another area for people that are signed up to their coworking program.
It’s just a two-minute walk from Canggu beach, with an exquisite open layout that spans four floors and incorporates contemporary facilities with genuine Balinese décor.
DUA TIGA – Coffee Shop
DuaTiga Cafe is a fantastic location to spend some time working while getting some great food too. They have a massive menu for food and drink, exquisite coffee (ask for the cortado), and a small air-conditioned section on the ground level.
Even if you’re not working, I would still come here for the food alone – especially if you’re looking for a healthy protein filled brunch.
This is one of my first stops every time I come back to Bali.

Outpost – Coworking Space
Outpost is targeted towards serious entrepeneurs and people looking to knuckle down and get work done. This could be a perfect fit for you if you want high-speed wifi, sound-proof offices, lockers, and you just want to ‘get on with work’.
They have a nice pool and the overall atmosphere is pretty cool, but in my opinion the space is kind of small and it can get quite busy.
It’s still a good option, it’s just that there are so many great options to choose from in Canggu!
Passo by Nook – Coffee Shop
Passo by Nook is slightly outside the walkable area of Canggu (I know right.. who walks in Canggu!?). You’ll definitely need a scooter or taxi to get here, but it’s totally worth it.
The views are immaculate, the food is next-level and the staff are so friendly. I became a regular here and looked forward to working here every day. They also added a pool with rice terrace views!
This is definitely my top pick from this section. You have to try it out.
Tribal – Coworking Space
Tribal is a coworking space with a twist.
It’s got everything a great coworking space has: good community, great coffee, lots of spots to work from and even a pool! Or as they say – Seating Desks. Standing Desks. Semi-Private Booths. Private Tables. Shared Tables. Bean Bags. Sun Loungers.
You can stay there and work for as long as you want, without paying a monthly fee.
All you need to do is keep buying coffee or food. Sounds fair to us!
Brunch Club – Coffee Shop
There are a few Brunch Clubs jotted around Bali, however the one in Berawa is our favourite. They serve up great brunch food, fantastic smoothies and as a twist, they have a view of the local equestrian centre.
So if watching horses gallop around while you crack on with some digital nomading is your thing, then brunch club is a great alternative option.
They also have fast wifi and an air conditioned room to work from.
Warung Tiga – Coffee Shop / Restaurant
Warung Tiga is such a great option that I almost feel bad about giving the secret away. The food selection is varied and affordable, the wifi is strong and the service is impeccable.
They serve Indonesian / Japanese fusion food which you can choose yourself from the counter. Plus a huge selection of salads, breakfast items and coffee.
They also have a sister restaurant in Umulas called Warung Dua – an equally fantastic option if you’re living over that way.
Bali is a digital nomad’s heaven
There are countless coffee shops and coworking spaces to work from in Bali, making it the perfect place for digital nomads.
The combination of great weather, a relaxed atmosphere and an abundance of new people to meet makes this paradise island one of the best places in the world to be a digital nomad.
