Attention all Bali nomads! Are you tired of working from your cramped hotel room or a noisy coffee shop? Look no further, because we have scoured Canggu and Pererenan to bring you the ultimate list of the best coworking spaces in the area.

From free and relaxed to upscale and creative, there’s something for everyone on this list. Unfortunately, Dojo is no longer on this list – but we’ll get to that bit later.

Here are the best coworking spaces in the area according to me, Jordan Simons, a Digital Nomad who has tried them all!

But first, why not check out our Bali Digital Nomad Guide?

Best Coworking Spaces in Canggu & Pererenan (Bali Cowork Guide)

Here are the best coworking spaces in Canggu & Pererenan, as chosen by Digital Nomads:

1. Tribal

First up is TRIBAL, located in the up-and-coming Pererenan area. It’s a little bit of a scooter ride from the central parts of Canggu, but trust me, it’s worth it.

This coworking space has a relaxed atmosphere, great wifi, delicious food, and even a pool – all for free! That’s right, there’s no entrance fee. Just purchase a drink or coffee to get three hours of access to the coworking space.

After that, there’s a minimum spend of 100k IDR, but if you buy lunch you’re off the hook. I recommend the cold brew and the Gado Gado. One downside is that there’s no air-con, but the space is usually cooled by a nice breeze as it has no walls.

Plus, there are plenty of seats and, did I mention, a pool?

2. Zin Cafe & Coworking Space

I’m taking this photo of Zin while working on this article about Zin. So meta.

Next is ZIN Café Bali, another free coworking space in Canggu. This open-air space is spread out over four floors and is a popular hub for digital nomads.

The wifi is great and there’s no entrance fee, but the atmosphere can be a bit crowded. The coffee is excellent, but in my honest opinion, I’d only rate the lunch options as okay.

There’s one air-conditioned focus room and plenty of seats, but unfortunately, there’s no swimming pool.

3. BWork Bali

Yes, this is a coworking space!

If you’re looking to join a community of like-minded individuals, BWork Bali is the place for you.

Located near the shortcut in Canggu, you can work in their café for free, but to access all their facilities you’ll need to become a member. As a member, you’ll have access to air-conditioned meeting rooms and focus rooms, as well as lectures, yoga classes, and other events.

The café can be a bit crowded and loud, but the wifi is top-notch and there are some good lunch options. There are more seats in the workspace than in the café and members have access to a pool.

4. Kinship Studio

For a more artsy experience, check out Kinship Studio in Berawa.

This coworking space is only open to members, but for a membership fee, you’ll be part of a creative community with access to a ceramics studio and fun events like perfume workshops and pottery classes.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the wifi is great and there’s air-conditioning. There are enough seats for all members, but no pool. If you want food, there’s a café on site with delicious coffee or you can check out Koloni just across the street.

5. Cafe Coach

Café Coach is a quiet and comfortable coworking café located close to the shortcut. It’s a great place to focus and get work done, with delicious coffee and food.

The downside is that there aren’t many seats, so get there early to snag one.

On the plus side, every Thursday at 5 pm they offer free life coaching on their upper floor (book in advance). There’s air-conditioning, but no pool.

6. Outpost

Outpost Coworking is a great option if you’re staying at Outpost Coliving. As a guest, you get access to their coworking space for free. It’s a bit of a walk from the central parts of Canggu, but it’s a beautiful location with a pool and great wifi.

The atmosphere is calm and there are plenty of seats. Plus, there are always events going on like movie nights and BBQs.

7. The Atelier

Next up is The Atelier, located in Canggu. This coworking space is a little bit pricier than some of the others on this list, with a daily pass costing 150k IDR and a monthly pass starting at 3.5m IDR.

However, for that price, you get access to a beautiful workspace with plenty of natural light, a pool, and a variety of seating options. The wifi is great, the atmosphere is calm and productive, and there are air-conditioned meeting rooms and focus rooms available for use.

The Atelier also has a café with delicious coffee and food options.

8. Tropical Nomad

Tropical Nomad is a great coworking space in Canggu that is definitely worth checking out.

Located on the shortcut, it’s easy to get to and is a perfect spot for digital nomads. The only downside to being on the shortcut is the occasional traffic, which you can now check out on the live shortcut cam!

The workspace is open and airy, with plenty of natural light pouring in, making it a pleasant place to spend the day. The wifi is reliable and the atmosphere is calm and productive. Plus, there are plenty of seating options to choose from.

Overall, Tropical Nomad is a top-notch coworking space that is sure to help you get your work done.

What Happened to Dojo Coworking?

It’s with a heavy heart that I must report that Dojo Coworking, once the best coworking space in Canggu, has unfortunately closed its doors. This news comes as a shock to all of us who were lucky enough to experience the greatness that was Dojo.

The open-air workspace with its fast wifi, delicious food, and the pool was a paradise for digital nomads. But alas, all good things must come to an end and now Dojo sits empty, a reminder of the greatness that once was. It will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of coworking there.

Rest in peace, Dojo. You will not be forgotten.
