There is a Red Wine Marathon in France!
Did you know that in the south of France, every year they hold a Red Wine Marathon.
It’s a full marathon of 26 miles in the region of Bordeaux.
Instead of water stops, they have 23 red wine and cheese stops to keep you going.
They also have other specialities such as oysters, steak, and ice-cream!
Where is the Marathon du Medoc?
The Red Wine Marathon, or Marathon du Medoc, is held every year in Bordeaux.
It’s been going since 1985, and is held in September through the vineyards of the Médoc in the Gironde.
