Egypt invented toothpaste.
Did you know that Egypt is the original home of toothpaste.
The Ancient Egyptians created a ‘tooth powder’ from myrrh, burnt eggshells, pumice, and burnt ashes of ox hooves.
They only used their fingers to apply it however, as the toothbrush wasn’t invented yet!
